Project/Outreach worker. 18.5 hours per week for an initial 6
months contract. The successful applicant should

good English and have reasonable written skills in English

fluent in Polish and preferably speak another EU language

willing to work flexibly

able to engage with street homeless clients and those suffering from addiction
· be
able and willing to help people access employment
· enjoy
working as part of a team but happy to work independently

enthusiastic and motivated

Talk Club begins on Wednesday 10 March at the Polish
Club 507 Portswood Road , so172th from 7.00pm. It’s an opportunity
for all EU citizens to gather in a friendly environment to listen to,
and speak some English, to meet interesting guests and find out more about
British culture.
Our next Friday Advice Evening takes place on 12 March from
6pm to 8pm at George Williams House, YMCA Building , Cranbury Place SO14 0LG
(near London Road and Inner Avenue ) Next date 16 April. If you’ve got
a question or a problem, we’ll try to help.
The next Wednesday Advice Evening at The Polish Club takes place
from 7.15pm to 9.00pm on 24 March. The club is at 507 Portswood Road , so172th.
Help with form filling, benefits advice etc etc. We will have someone from the
health service with us, so come along if you have any health questions) Open
to all people here from EU countries.
Employment and Benefits Advice

Our playgroup at St Boniface Church, Shirley High Street happens
each Tuesday morning.. If you have children under 5, or know people
who have, it is a great place to come. It runs from 10am, and is open to
all Eastern/Central European families.
Is alcohol costing you more than money? We are helping
to run an Alcoholics Anonymous group with Polish translation every Wednesday at
Stella Maris Hall, St. Michael’s Square,
