July 2010

We are here to help arrivals to Southampton (and beyond) from the new A8 (and A2) countries of the EU.

We provide advice, signposting and support.

We also organize & assist with cultural and social events to help with integration of those new communities with other established communities in Southampton.

We produce literature and leaflets concerning different issues ranging from employment rights, life in Southampton, car parking regulations, housing and others.

Should you like to know more about the Project, have a look at 'About Us' section on the left, or email us directly ('Contact Us' section).

Latest news from EU Welcome

Hi

Oh well it’s only football!  Meanwhile lots of information this month including opportunities to work with EU Welcome and Hampshire Police.

We also have a new Advice Evening in Shirley/Freemantle starting on Thursday 1 July.( and then the first Thursday of each month).

On Friday 16 July we are helping to sponsor a meeting for Latvians at Northam community Centre in Kent Street Northam SO14 5SP from 7pm, and we have a brilliant new booklet available in English and Polish. It’s called ‘You’ve Got Talent’ (I Ty Masz Talent!).  It’s all about helping people to find new and better jobs, and has an excellent on how to present your CV.
